It is September, the Cape Clear International Storytelling Festival is over (always on the first weekend in September) and for StoryGate that means Michael and Simone are back to school! With their puppets and stories and now even with a fiddle or two in tow, the storytellers are out to bring joy and puppet-mayhem to schools and libraries all over Ireland. The school visits were kicked off nicely today with a wonderful event in Edenderry Library. We had a sensory story time, followed by a sock puppet workshop. 28 puppets were created, one more colourful than the other, and they all danced a jig at the end of the session.
