In response to the earthquake in Morocco, Storytellers of Ireland are organising an online fundraising storytelling concert on Monday the 18th of September at 8.30pm. To register for the event, please follow the link below:

The city of Marrakesh has been greatly affected by the earthquake. It is a place with a long-standing storytelling tradition and many storytellers have been warmly welcomed there to tell at the annual festival. With this concert, Storytellers of Ireland are trying to give back a bit to the people who have been so welcoming to storytellers from all around the world.
All funds will go to the Henna Café, where Irish tellers performed this year. The café runs a soup kitchen to help the people affected by the earthquake.
