Write To Read Young Writers Academy

Simone was invited to take part in DCU’s third Write to Read Biennial Young Writers Academy, organized in conjunction with Poetry Ireland.

For this fantastic project, sixty children from different schools in Dublin are brought to DCU to meet six children’s books authors who will work with them over a course of five weeks. Authors taking part in this year’s academy are Brian Gallagher, Lucinda Jacob, Oisín McGann, Simone Schuemmelfeder and Amy Cahill and Dave Rudden (working in collaboration).
